SuperUser FBEPocus: Introduction to Point-of-Care Ultrasound in Critical Care
This immersive course provides comprehensive training in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) for clinicians of all levels. Designed to be highly interactive and movement-based, the course prioritizes hands-on skill development in real clinical scanning. Day One focuses on deliberate practice, in which each student completes proctored ultrasound scans to meet the American College of Physicians’ foundational scanning requirement. Day Two transitions into scenario-based application, utilizing focused 20-minute simulation stations followed by structured 10-minute debriefs to reinforce clinical reasoning and image interpretation. This format ensures that learners not only gain technical proficiency but are also equipped to return to their department or agency and help elevate their peers' training.
